Belgrade Correspondent

Residency in Kulturni Centar Rex Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, 2005 In the period from May to November 2005, fifteen artists from several European and non-European countries have visited Belgrade. During their stay they produced short radio-reports on their impressions from Belgrade. The reports were broadcast on the local radio stations (Radio Studio B, Radio Belgrade 2 and Radio B92). The project enabled the glimpse of the strangers on Belgrade and their impressions of their stay to be presented, ''returned'' to its citizens. In that way, the artists were correspondents from Belgrade also for the Belgraders themselves. The reports were done in native languages of the correspondents and in ''European English'', a language spoken today by the majority of Europeans. Next to making radio-reports all artists were asked to make a photo report on Belgrade.
